Strengths: Super-easy set-up, compact size
Weaknesses: They only give you one "satellite" jack.
Summary: Just like everyone else, I found this extremely easy to set-up. I wanted an extra jack so I could run my all-in-one printer/scanner/fax/copier off of it. I didn't have a jack in my home/office, so this was the solution. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap, easy solution.

Strengths: No wiring is needed. Plug in and play
Weaknesses: no
Summary: I bought it to connect a phone line to DISH receiver. It works out of box. No wiring is needed. Plug in and play. It works great for the purpose.

Strengths: PROMPT SHIPPING

Summary: RECIEVED ITEM PROMPTLY, EMAIL WAS SENT IMMEDIATELY AFTER ORDER AND THEN ONCE SHIPPED, I RECEIVED ONE WITH TRACKING NUMBER. I HAVEN'T HOOKED IT UP TO MY DVR YET, BUT IT WORKS WITH A PHONE.

Strengths: has great range, very powerful
Weaknesses: bulky size.
Summary: I really like the wireless phone jack. It gives me a phone jack in a location where one previously did not exist. It a convenient product to have. I would recommend it to anyone.

Strengths: Very easy to install, Audio is clear, can't tell if it's wireless or a hard wire conection.
Weaknesses: used it only a week and see no problems.
Summary:
Bought it to use a large numbered phone instead of a cordless. We did not have a phone jack in the area we needed this phone and to difficult to run a line. Definitely the easiest way to go, and it works great. would recommend this item.

Strengths: simple solution, no more dealing with wires
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I needed to hook up my satellite receiver to a phone line. However, there were no phone jacks nearby. The RCA wireless phone jack provided a neat solution to my problem. Installation was a snap. And the connection works well with my satellite receiver even with my DSL line connected to the same source. I got it for a great price so I am overall pleased with the purchase.

 RCA Wireless Phone Jack Strengths: easy to set up
Weaknesses: not suitable for DSL
Summary: I bought this item to use my DSL Internet for my computer is located in an area where there isn’t a jack. You can only access the Internet when you attach to the base unit - it will not work with the extension unit.
I would recommend this product for it is quite useful and set-up is a cinch.

Strengths: Does what it is supposed to do.
Weaknesses: Had some difficulty getting it to work in area with other wireless phone.
Summary: I initially had some difficulty getting it to work correctly, but now all seems to be well. I have another phone that works wirelessly and I think it was interfering with this wireless jack. I found a creative use for this device... rather than using to provide one extra jack for VoIP (which was my original plan), I set it up to plug my VoIP line into my main house phone line "network" (the one my land line used to operate on). You need to make sure the land line is completely disconnected at your network interface box outside, but otherwise it should work great. Now every jack in my house communicates over the VoIP line.

 Good product...but Strengths: I bought the set, the main one and 2 satellites for use with our Direct TV receivers.
Weaknesses: When I plugged it in and finally got them to synch up, the Caller ID would not work on the cordless phones. According to the phone company, they said that it will not work with these.
Summary: There has got to be a workaround for this problem. Does anybody have any ideas on how to make it work? I would like to keep them, but if not, I will sell them.

Strengths: Easy to install and good price. We bought 2 from Buy.com and it came within 5 days.
Weaknesses: If base unit is too close to PC or other interference, the extension unit won't get a dial tone to work.
Summary: Good thing we have 2 phone lines in the house to give it a second try.
At first we put the base unit downstairs where the main phone jack is, near our PC, and we tried to put the extension unit anywhere other than 3+ feet away downstairs, couldn't get a dial tone to work.
Finally, before we decide to return both back, we decided to give a last try to put the base unit upstairs on our 2nd phone line, then, we were able to put extension unit anywhere else in the house downstairs outlet.
We are happy to keep both of them and can't wait until our 42" Plasma HDTV to arrive and make this wireless phone jack system working even more worthwhile.
