Order process was easy, time to see if I get the correct product in a timely manner! UPDATE: They did not have my item in stock, as it is a "hot item right now". They could not give me any estimate of when they might have it in stock, or if it would be coming in with their shipments. (They don't know what they are getting in the shipments to them??!?!) As they couldn't give me any answers, I cancelled and went with someone else. They were polite and easy to deal with however. Overall Rating

(Edited April 18th by ladybuggy)  They sent me a broken sealed Sony laptop, so called them right away in order to return it. Finally I returned, they called me that I opened the box and set up the window. How was I supposed to use the laptop as a reseller. This laptop was for my customer. They told me that I used this notebook and charged me the shipping fee and 15% of restocking fee. I've been a reseller for 5 years. Why should I be stupid to lose a customer and pay 15% restocking fee and shipping fee, the amount almost $300. I am working with my credit card comp in order to dispute the charge and I will do my best to get my money back from this fraud. When you shop, you must read BAD COMMENT of a Mercahnt like this. I think that they should put more attention on handling e-mails from costumers. I had to wait almost 2 day until I finally got an answer. I paied using Paypal...somehow my invoice was short of $2 (needed for express shipping ). It took almost 5 days to send it...regular. It worked out in the end good product as discribe, but I probably never shop again on this website ( they could tell me next day about $2 missing....so I could have a fast decision...). The online ordering went well. At this point, that is all that I can review. When stock/shipping has been updated, I will be able to supply more information.Update: The merchant called that evening to confirm the order and again 2 days later to let me know that the item had shipped. I've purchased from your site several times over the last 3+ years and have been very satisfied with your customer service. A couple years ago, I tried to purchase a video card and motherboard that was incompatible and your staff called me to verify my order and explain the discrepancy instead of just shipping the items and letting me find out the hard way. I was then able to adjust my order and ended up with a better system. Overall Rating

MainPC really seems to know how to do business. I ordered my laptop Friday morning, and within an hour, someone called me to verify my credit card info. The card was charged early next week, and the item was shipped via UPS ground, arriving the following Wednesday. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal. Overall Rating

I would NEVER buy anything from these people again. They take your money and never ship, and when they ship they don't ship with the method you pay for and then the shipment is returned and they say they sold it to someone else and you'll have to wait on a list for another one to come in. What a bunch of BS. we waited a month before we reported them to the Better Business Bureau of NY. complaint # 4266588 BE AWARE DON"T GET TRICKED DON"Y BUY HERE Overall Rating

I'm now using the MacBook Pro ordered last week from MainPC. The communication was ok - no emails though. I only received one email with the tracking info. For any other info, I used the phone. The price was really the best I could find and the product was sealed and very well packed. No complains. Thank you! Overall Rating

I ordered a MacBook Pro 17" and on their website they said that if your shipping address was different from the billing address to call your credit card and put the shipping address as an alternate and this would be verified. I did this. Then I get a call from this merhcant saying that their policy did not allow them to ship to a different address than the billing address. I wanted the order shipped to my bussiness not my house because no one is there during the day. They refused to do this. So I cancelled the order and ordered from someone who would ship to my bussiness address. I would not recommend this merchant to anyone! Overall Rating

Only a minor concern which was alleviated by final billing information including no sales tax and minimal shipping being listed prior to a final confirmation of order. Submitted order on a Sunday - package did not ship for at least 3 business days; was leaving for vacation & had to call in and upgrade shipping in order to receive package prior to departure; otherwise satisfactory experience. I just purchased a 17 in MacBook Pro. By far the best price out there, that was a major plus. Ording the computer was very easy. The pricegrabber website showed that they had computers on stock, but they didn't. I had to wait until Monday for them to ship a computer and it was a computer that was on hold for somebody else. I had to change the shiping to 2nd day in order to get the computer before I went on vacation. Other than that it was a good experience. Overall Rating

Fairly smooth transaction. I think the sign up system is idiotic and I also had to call to verify my order. When I give my CC information over a secure connection, I would like that to be the confirmation that I am indeed ordering. I hate having to call and the first few calls went to a Verizon answering machine!? Not very good customer service. On top of it all I received a computer with a warped screen that I will have to bring to Apple now. Can't blame MainPC for that. Overall Rating

Monday, 6/26/2006, MainComp receives my iMac MA200LL/A order because they have the best price ($1.495). I pay PayPal and they take the money at once. No order confimation, so I call LD, "We have supply problems, give us 2 or 3 days." Sure, I will wait. Meanwhile I send them two eMails asking to fix my account login since I am locked out. No reply at all. Friday 6/30/2006 I call to find out that first customer rep is off that day and only he knows. Promise is given to ship Monday 7/3/2006 and to reply to eMails. Happy weekend to you too. Mon comes, still no reply, put PayPal announces a refund. I check, now the same machine is 1.750. My impression: small company in Brooklyn with several computer retail stores. Overworked and NY-type unfriendly staff who are running the Internet business on the side between walk-in customers. No eMail replies whatsoever. Bring traffic to their site by offering low prices that they can not deliver. Overall Rating
