I purchased a laptop at an advertised price of $599. Not more than 14 hours later, i received an email flyer with that same item listed with an additional $20 off. CC told me that my order was processed and they could not cancel it, or apply the coupon. for $20 that's pretty poor service. I work in a call center and for a small amount like that, we take care of business to maintain a happy customer. obviously CC does not. |

I selected the appropriate shipping at additional cost ($11.26) to have it delivered on 10/29 because I am taking it to Colorado early morning on 10/31 as a gift for my daughter. Every Circuit City confirmation and receipt shows 10/29 as the delivery date, but the Fedex Ground tracking shows it in Illinois on the 29th with delivery scheduled for the 30th. This ruins my plans to be somewhere else on the 30th because I have to be home for the delivery to be made. Circuit City needs to have their shipping process comply with what they promise the customer when they order something. I called their Customer Service telephone number and got a representative who couldn't understand English very well - everything had to be repeated for her to comprehend. She kept insisting that the product would be delivered on the 29th, despite FedEx tracking showing a 10/30 delivery date. She also said they would issue a refund on shipping only after I receive the product, not before delivery. |

i wrote 29, but it never came. i went to get a car stereo installed. that was 29 days ago. after i bought the stereo by itself, they told me my car needed a stereo frame in order to go through with the installation, and that it would take a week for the part to arrive. three weeks passed. i called, and i got the OK for the installation, so i made an appointment, got up early, went to circuit city - only to find out they had ordered the wrong part. they then told me they should be getting the right frame by two days time. its been a week. usually, im a pretty patient person, but a month is way to long to have just a stereo installed. frustrated, i returned the stereo, and got one installed IN THE SAME DAY in a nearby car electronic shop. what a waste of time. i think it is also important for me to say that this is my first review on a store - before, i was never frustrated enough to go through all the trouble of writing something like this. thanks circuit city. |

DON NOT GO THERE!!!!!!! I ordered this boombox that was supposed to be in stock. I received my confirmation email that it would ship the next day. Our checking account was debited immediately. I continued to check email and wait for the shipping confirmation email. After one week I called and was told by customer service that it was "in process of being shipped". I asked if they could tell me the reason for the delay. I was told that there was no way to contact the "on line warehouse" to get that information. Today I received an email that said that the boombox was not available and that the order had been "backordered or cancelled." There was no indication which had occured. They still have our money and no indication as to the reason!!! DON'T USE THEM!!! NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!!!!1 |

Ensure you keep a copy of web page from which you ordered with the date. They do NOT honor their ads. I purchased a camera that came with a free camera case. Dealt with several people over internet and phone. Customer service was rude and unbending. I did not get the case. |

Ordered computer on line and picked up at the store the following day. Two weeks later I saw that the price had dropped for a July 4th Sale. Their price guarantee is rock solid and receiving the price difference was a simple, smooth process. Many thanks, Circuit City - you're true to your word! |

Ordered the Canon Powershot SD750 on line from Circuitcity.com and picked it up in the store within 24 minutes. It's the 2nd time I've ordered from them on the .com site and have only had the highest regard for the store and their curteous customer service associates. |

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a bit nervous about ordering my Linksys Wireless-N Laptop Adapter (WPC300N) from Circuit City, but they had the best price, and I could save shipping by picking it up right at the store (about 5.5 miles from my house). Well, everything went great! The order went through smoothly, and my adapter was waiting for me when I stopped by the store about 9 hours after placing the order. I didn't even have to wait in line; I was in and out of the store in about 10 minutes. |

I ordered my Notebook on Friday, May 23rd & selected 3-4 day delivery. Since Monday was a holiday (Memorial Day), it wasnt shipped until Tuesday. I received it today, Friday May 30th, which was in fact its estimated delivery date. It came just before 11am. The only complaint I have is that the shipping box was half opened due to a bad tape job. Nonetheless, my laptop was safely sealed in the HP box & i had it up & running within 30mins. Aside from the half opened box, my experience with Circuit City was a good one & i would order from them again. |

I bought a notebook and opted to pick it up in a store. When I got there, the store manager informed me that I must pay an extra $39.95 mandatory "optimization" fees. When I protested that I had not ordered such service, they refused to deliver the product which I had purchased online, claiming that I had no choice, with an attitude might I add. Consequently I canceled the order. This is totally unaccepatble, but they get away with it. LOUSY MERCHANT! |

Never understand the bad rap Circuit City gets on review sites. I have ordered several times from their online site and have been VERY PLEASED every time. Merchandise always comes quickly, well-packed, and have never had any problems with wrong merchandise or returns. The site is easy to navigate and offers advice to the less tech-savvy amoung us. I recommend Circuitcity.com to anyone looking for a great bargain in the latest technologies. |

I was a little worried based on the ratings and comments I read before but I was very impressed with how my order was handled. I placed it on saturday, received shipment notification by monday and received it on tuesday! Plus, it was with the free shipping option. My items arrived and were pacakged, new, and in working order. This definately exceeded my expectations. |

They are still offering products that they hace not available in any form (24 min. in store pick up, internet or store)they just do not have it!! Some friends told me already about this, but i did not belive them!! I ordered SanDisk Sansa e250 2GB Digital MP3 Player and had it delivered to the local store. I've seen many very bad reviews yet I've ordered several items and they have all been received correctly and promptly. I believe the problems resvolve around the wrong store. I use Circuit City in Riverdale, UT. Always 100%. |

HORRIBLE. I ordered an iPod shuffle and when I opened the box - lo and behold - IT WAS EMPTY! There were only packing materials in it and the iPod had been removed. I called Circuit City customer service and was not given much sympathy. The representative was rude and my requests to speak with a manager or get a manager's phone number were denied flatly. She had a "What are you going to do about it?" attitude as she said it would take 7-14 days to either receive another one or receive a refund. I was treated like a thief. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge because I felt this was an unacceptable response. I will NEVER do business with Circuit City again and am writing this review to let all people know how terrible shopping can be with them. |

I read all the negative reviews about Circuit City on this site before buying my Sony 60" SXRD Rear Projection HDTV. I knew that more people write reviews who have negative buying experiences and that's understandable. Since I had no issues and got good service, I'm writing this. I did get a good deal on my TV ($300 less than MSRP) and free delivery. I ordered the TV on Friday evening and they delivered by Sunday afternoon (just 2 days and it was free). The delivery guy was very friendly and helpful as well. I'm very happy with the TV and Circuit City. Good job!! |

My order of Panasonic pvgs320 camcorder should come with free bag and tripod, but the circuit city refused to honor its commitment. I think this is wrong and violates good business practice. I called and email the consumer service department trying to get this resolved. Both my email and phone call did not led nowhere. I have a proof that the promotion was on at the time of my purchase. They did not even bother to look into it. |

So just before Christmas, my husband and I ordered a video camera as our present from our whole family and to each other, to have for when our baby is born. The box showed up a couple weeks after we ordered it from Circuitcity.com. The FedEx guy put the package on the ground and told my husband to sign for the box. When my husband picked up the box, he realized it was empty. He called Circuit City with in minutes of getting the empty package. Two months later, 20+ phone conversations with Circuit City and FedEd, where we were told no one higher than the trained monkey who answers the phone would ever talk to us, and they closed the case without telling us! No refund, no camera. FedEx says that we can't file a claim against them, Circuit City has to do it b/c they are the shipper. Circuit City won't file the claim b/c they have our money and don't have any intention of giving it back. CIRCUIT CITY has despicable costumer service. Never shop there! |

On Pricegrabber I was given a coupon code specifically for this Television of 10% off. When attempting to use it on your site I was told this product was excluded from 10% off coupon. Up until the point of final purchase your site says "free delivery". Then at the point of choosing how to get the product I was told by your site that I could only pick it up at store, which will then charge me $59 plus for delivery. I have been informed of this charge earlier today when considering another television. You got me though I am just tired of looking for this television now and finished the purchase. Will notify pricegrabber of this. |
