[Edited to fix a typo.] At first I was going to buy one of the non-ATI versions of this card because they can be found for sometimes as much as $50 less than this version. However, I did substantial searching and found that some of the other manufacturers cut corners. It could be something as small as a nosier fan or something as severe as using a 12 pipeline version of the chip instead of the 16...
