It is not worth to buy Legacy car LDVD84 player

Strengths: First look or on picture not bad

Weakness: First received unit was damaged after couple hours of playing; Display information could not be visible in day time; Functionality and convenience of using are very bad;

I purchased this player from eBay seller in price $85, including shipping. It was claimed 5 years factory warranty and made in China. At beginning I found that radio has not fixed bands and it is need tune manually, it is very inconvenient. I was surprised, and I even could not imagine how it is possible in modern time to construct and produce non-electronic radio tuning units? My 7 years old car...

You get what you pay for

Strengths: CD/CDR/CDRW/DVD/DVD-R/MP3 Playback Nice LCD Display Detachable Face Wireless Remote Many customizable features

Weakness: Radio tuning knob difficult to adjust Volume control a little too loud for around the town even on level 1 No way to preset radio stations Buttons kind of cheap

This is a nice looking unit and for the most part, it operates the way you want it to. The CD and DVD playback are as expected. When coupled with a Legacy flip-down monitor, the DVD video quality is outstanding. The volume control is the real sticking point with this unit.
