That has not happened with the D-Link. - The Voice quality is the same as my land line. Weakness: see comments. Had to call Lingo (VOIP provider) customer service because there was no dial tone when first started up. - They downloaded something to the router that made it compatible with my older cable modem and it has worked just fine since.

D Link 1402slStrengths: Just opened the box, connected to my router and signed up and was able to make the calls with in minutes Weakness: Its locked due to which u cannot user with other service providers I like the product very much and have reffered many freinds to buy it and take advantage of the low calling plans. Also I got the refferal fee of $25 per freind who signed up bring my plan cost to free.

Strengths: Very good networking, installs as a router directly without any problems, good voice quality
