Best drives I have ever used.Strengths: Its easy to install, configure and get it running on my XP PC. Weakness: None I bought it because of its price and the 3 yr warrantee. Its fast accessing the data and my music. I was able to replace my old maxtor drive. with 10 mins I was running on my new drive.

Western Digital Does It AgainStrengths: Large space, Quiet, WD Name Weakness: None so far Large size, supposed to save on power. No issues with heat or noise. I use this drive to store my DVD library and some pictures. Tons of space but you will find things to fill it with in this new tech again.

Great, Large Hard DriveStrengths: Size, Power Usage Weakness: None I bought this hard drive to use in a dedicated server that stores my music collection. The first thing I did is created an ext2 file system and copied 320GB of data onto it with no problems. It may be a little louder than other drives, but that's not an issue for me, I just needed a large drive that hopefully will use less electricity than others.

Nice DriveStrengths: 1TB, WD quality. Green drive Weakness: 3 years warranty. Only 16MB, I would prefer 32MB chace for the drive of this size. A little slower then other 1TB drives I like Western Digital drives. Never really had any problems with them unlike Seagate. My least Seagate drive crashed right out of the box. WD drives seem to be more stirty.

Cannot go wrong by Western Digital...Strengths: Just transferred my MyBook WD contents 320 GB to my new 1 TB drive--lots of space. The drive is quiet--I CANNOT hear it over the combined noise output of the CPU fan & my 10000 RPM WD Raptor HD. Weakness: Unfortunately I installed this drive under Windows Vista. The WD tools install CD would not work with Windows Vista, so I had to use the Windows Vista formatting tools. I am planning to go to the WD website to look for Vista compatible Western Digital tool programs since the install CD is useless with Vista. Registering the product online was easy. You get a 3 year manufacturer warranty.
